Journal to Wellness: Springboards 04/04/2010

Springboards are simple statements, words, or questions that help you to clarify your thoughts and launch into writing. Springboards can also help you tap into your inner wisdom and listen to the voice of spirit. Write one of the following springboards at the top of a page in your journal and write non-stop for 15 minutes. Do not worry about punctuation or correct spelling. Just let it flow!

What is my next right action?
What holds me back from my highest good?
I regret that I...
What am I avoiding?
What would I do if I could not fail?
What is my heart's desire?
Why do I feel...?
My next step is...
If I spoke my truth I would say...
I feel most at peace when...
How did I overcome (an obstacle)?
If money were no object, I would...
The best time of my life was...
What does my spirit tell me to do right now?
If I could have it my way, how would my life look like right now?
What does my life look like in 10 years?
What is my biggest dream?
How can I use my life or my gifts to help others?

...or create a list of your own springboards and experiment with one of them everyday for a week.

The springboards are great. I plan to personally use them as self exploring writing prompts. I am also going to use them with my son as prompts to help uncover his inner thoughts on choices for college and educational focus.
